This was a part leftover out of the film that should have been incorporated. It would have been brightness to add it in right before Francis goes to satisfy Geralds dangerous as he is approaching the graveyard. I feel that this diorama foreshadows that one of Franciss flaws is that he does not own up to the fact that his actions have consequences. Francis drops his son, Gerald and the delinquency he felt approximately this caused him to leave his family because he could not typesetters case them after what he had done.
